both.
The fence was moved to get there fucking great shed in before we moved in, and are refusing point blank yo get involved in the fence being replaced after they failed to remove the ivy that grew on their side and destroyed the fence.
I'm happy for the boundary to have moved, it's all of 2 inches or so, but the cost of the fence is pissing me off. There's no T marks on plans, and no street wide consensus as to who owns which side. They're saying it's my fence on my land, so we've threatened criminal damage for the damage their ivy, swingseat and demon spawn grandson have caused.
I got an email today saying that if I was to not pursue the damages they'd consider chipping in to the cost of a new fence.

what twats
who bothers to spend money on a shed and then doesn't mind the fence looking like shit? twats, that's who.

is there anything historic as to who has paid for it in your deeds? i completely agree they shot themselves in the foot there; that was a rather daft admission.

without seeing the deeds or anything, i think my instinct would be to reply and say that you are glad they are being more reasonable, but as the fence was fine until they damaged it, they have to replace it with one of reasonable quality, or you'll get more legal on their asses.
