Jason smiled as he watched the last bubble slowly rise to the surface and dissipate.The spasticated flailing hadn't lasted for long, not nearly as long as he had imagined, and he had imagined it, over and over. It was somehow more peaceful and, in many ways, a happier event than he ever thought possible, watching him slowly sink to the murky depths.
