Suspicious
This morning I crossed paths with a blind man and his white cane, and I could have sworn he raised his eyes and looked at me as he walked past. Then, barely a quarter of an hour later, I encountered another blind man and his white cane who did exactly the same thing. This has never happened to me before. I'm probably going menkle or something.

Because buying a load of quality spirits just for one dinner party is prohibitively expensive.
So, miniatures of the ingredients, with the recipe, in the right proportions.
A different box every month.

it's a quote from popular bawdy 1970s sid james comedy 'the matron'
where a sexy nurse checks his temperature with a rectal thermometer and then seconds later another, her twin, comes along to do the same.
he winks to camera at this point and does his trademark 'yuk yuk yuk'

Blind people, it's a con job. Most blind people have some vision and the ones born totally blind need removing from the genetic pool.
Winter food, as ever, gruts are my favourite.

This is true, but I thought the partially-sighted had red-and-white-striped canes
rather than the pure white version. I might be thinking of Santa's elves.

I'm almost certain this is some sort of blues omen that you have encountered two blind men this morning.
Perhaps it is time to head down to the crossroads.

Sound advice
Am now listening to the Hans Theessink cover of "Grinning in Your Face" on Spotify, as a warm-up for "Johnny and the Devil".
Last week I stumbled upon a muslin of mulled wine spices in my cupboard that someone had given me as a present and that was best before February 2014. Still going to brew it up, though.

Oh, two men set up a new barber's, had a look and their prices are right
