A new start at my work
has just sprayed himself with deodorant in my office and now I can't breathe without tasting his horrible scent. I made my feelings known quite vociferously only to be met by blank stares and raised eyebrows. Am I alone in finding this offensive ?

Get up and scream
that if he had more showers he wouldn't have to mask his vile, repugnant stench with half a can of lynx.

Or just get some impulse and spray him with it so he smells nice and girly

lynx is vile
and its not even an anti-perspirant, so you smell like everyone else and also have an underlying smell of stale sweat, ftw.

I am currently trying to convince him that a hardshag is a cleaning tool
then I'll send him next door to the rough printer boys to ask for one . Fingers crossed .

I think
you should go to his office and let out a good healthy fart. It's only fair...

Wierd thing
For a newby to do. He'll be using your cup without permission next!! FFS.

I've not used deodorant of any sort for about 20 years.
I am currently single overwhelmed by the attention of females drawn to my pheromones.

But - seriously - people are much too paranoid about their bodies. Staying tolerably clean is all you really ought to need. (For the record, I shower when I get up, and again when I get back from the gym in the evening.)

Like Enzyme
I typically shower in the morning, and again if I do something to work up a sweat. I use deodorant, but it's unscented- and generally speaking I just don't really smell of much of anything. I really don't understand those who douse themselves in Axe body spray and the like. They just kinda trail a strong reek wherever they go. Unless you're in the habit of eating a lot of garlic or other really smelly things, I don't see the need...

Whack him over the head
with the can, then he'll know better than to do it again....

He has just done it again
in the toilets this time. I may have to have a word , funny though , I didn't think to ask about personal hygiene or ocd at the interview . Hopefully he's just nervous about being new .

Steal the deoderant
And then conspicuously replace it with a "non-scented" one.

That's what we did to a former colleague, who insisted on spraying himself with a choking cloud of Lynx every hour or so. Yeah, he was sweaty, but Lynx is sooo much worse than BO...

Maybe
he's gone and 'done a pooflake', as seems to be the common expression.

Lynx smells bad, no question, but a trouser full of dried turds? I think you're better off with the deodorant.
