It's alright
I was only kidding, I'm sure that you have a lovely face really, and your Mum can't be that bad.

It's just that I've been teaching my daughter, and her friends, my niece, nephew and my little brother, that the best comeback for any insult is simply, 'so's your mum' or 'so's your face'. So now, arguments between them go like this;

Little brother: Stop trying to take my toy car, you poohead!
Daughter: So's your face.
LB: You're so annoying, why don't you just go away?
D: So's your Mum.
LB: Aaaargh! Leave me alone.
D: So's your face.
LB: ........!

Repeat ad infinitum, it drives them nuts, works really well, and shuts most kids up.

For me it's interesting
To see, for example the number of people who've put things about accents has made me realise that it's quite a widespread prejudice. I feel all sad..

So (to be said in broadest yorkshire) they can all cock off.

Also, just because someone hasn't had the opportunities in life that others have, does not make them common. Some serious snobbery going on this week!
