To those folks going to the Edinburgh Bash in April
Would any of you be up for doing one of the ghost walks?

I can just imagine what they would be like with us lot on it.

Ah go on
Sounds like it would be fun. Might be worth trying to scare the crap out of the tour guide...

WeeWitch's guide to the ghost walk
go to the loo before it starts

I did one once
and I had to leave half way through. I'll wait in the pub.

@Witchy
That's always a good plan.

Batman, why did you have to leave half way through?

Piston, Good man.

Is it OK
if I dress up in a sheet, à la Scooby Doo ghost?
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:45, Reply)
Damn you K2
You've now got me in stitches at that thought.
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:46, Reply)
if you're serious
the Witchery Tours are the ones with the "jump outs", but they're telegraphed well in advance ... no excuse for needing fresh pants.

K2k6, that would be brilliant. I threw the guy of his stride right at the start by admitting to being a witch and asking what he intended to do about it?
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:52, Reply)
I dunno...
If it's one of those things that makes me jump it's not gonna be the best idea, I'm prone to being viciously self-defensive. Stab-tasticly so.

Kaol
that's okay, I'll nip up to the Royal Ed first and get a "special" waistcoat. You know, the ones that make you hug yourself?

That might raise an eyebrow, even in Edinburgh...
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:58, Reply)
Yeah!
I have done the cambridge one and it was cool
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:02, Reply)
Dok
I say half way through...

The guid started talking about it and I shat it and ran off to the pub to wait. Ghosts give me the fear big time.

I'm aware I'm a big girl.

Kaol & Batman
Kaol we'll restrain you if it come to that.

Batman come on there'll be B3tans to take care of you. What more caould you ask for?

And if you want we could bring a piccy of 'Teh Fear' to make you laugh!
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:16, Reply)
I shall be with HCFB in the pub.
*scared*
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:18, Reply)
yes yes yes!
I'm a big scaredy cat, you can all laugh at me as I wet myself in fear.
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:21, Reply)
Woo drinks are on me BGB
As in I'm buying. Not physically on me, although...

Dok How would having Kaol protect me make me any less scared?!
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:22, Reply)
I'm up for that!
So long as Kaol and I can sneak ahead and ambush the 'jumpers'. I want us to get one of them to say "clever girls" before we pounce.
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:32, Reply)
But it's okay for you to scream like a girl
what with you being one.

I don't want my lasting impression on b3ta to be me screaming like a 3 year old. Because it'll happen.
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:34, Reply)
Right
So there will be people screaming like girlies (some of them are girlie so that's ok), Folks will be ambushing the staff, and others will be in the pub waiting.

Sounds like a plan I'll start to investigate now.

What days are people going to be there from and too?
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:41, Reply)
YEAH!!!!
That can't fail to be entertaining. Love the idea.
(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 17:59, Reply)
I did one last month there
City Of The Dead.

£7.50 a head and lasted about an hour.

Was pretty good!
