not seeing any of this ``friends'' or ``fans'' stuff on my profile. does this simply mean i don't have any?

I'd expect a couple of deranged fans at least or it's not b3ta. where are the lunatic twats who want to follow my way?

more friends than fans, but all my fans are also friends. How does that work?
I thought someone was your fan if they click 'I like this" on something you've posted. And a 'friend' is someone who is initially a 'fan', who you can then upgrade if you want.
So how in begorrah can I possibly have more friends than fans?
Oh no, I've gone cross-eyed. %-(

Someone is your Friend if you add them via your Friends Activity tab. I think this tab might not appear until someone else adds you, which is a bit gay.
Someone becomes your Fan if they add you. You will see them on your Friends/Fans list and will be able to add them as Friends.
Hope that makes sense.
On your Friends Activity page, you'll see all of your Friends' root-page posts, and posts they clicked I Like This, in /board, /talk and QOTW.
I've added you all* so hopefully your Friends Activity link should appear at the top of the page if your blatant plea for attention hasn't already made it happen :-P
* I reserve the right to remove you if your posts are shit :)
Edit: Friendship/Fandom doesn't occur on clicking I Like This.
Edit edit: there is some basic Add Friend functionality on /board, there might be on /talk too. Dunno why they don't incorporate it here too.
