How many of you are reading B3ta but have Word/Excel/other office software (but not limited to MS Office) open in the background containing what you're meant to be doing?

I think most people use software that's been bought or built specifically for the trade they work in.
I'm stalking you.

There are approximately 700 of us worldwide, even Obama Bin Barrack is actually a Bert in disguise.
Once he's been inaugurated we're going to declare full scale war on grandmasterfluffles's behind, with ENORMOUS missiles.

Thunderbird,
Many Firefox tabs,
iTunes,
3 local terminals (website editing, home and python script editing),
2 terminals ssh'd to the login machines of the cluster I manage,
2 terminals ssh'd to the head node of said cluster,
1 terminal as root on the head node of the very same cluster,
and one machine downstairs collecting data from the decays of Cobalt 60 (for the students)
on whilst I post rubbish here.
Either I'm good at multi-tasking or I'm not doing anything.
I suspect it's the latter.

I always have my browser the size of the outlook reading pane so it looks like i'm trawling emails, i doubt anyone falls for it but it makes me feel a bit stealthier

Two Firefox windows up - one with b3ta tabs, outlook, hotmail, blogger and facebook, the other with work stuff.
Live Messenger - so I know when I've received an email rather than chatting to anyone as I'm usually signed in but shown offline - I like to lurk.
Two Word docs that I'm working on.
PersonalBrain - a planning/brainstorming app that I love.
I tend to set myself small tasks - type up a new bit of work then look at b3ta for a few minutes, then back to writing, then look at facebook, write, check Outlook, write, then eat.
