All I want for Xmas...
Is a little help from b3tans...

I'm a bit of a lurker here, but have been given the task of coming up with a 'wish list' for our office Xmas bonus - and I'm hoping to get some inspiration/suggestions from you all!

The problem is that I work in an office of 15 gadget mad guys, have only been here for two months and have NO IDEA what they would want...I've got a budget of about £200 per gift idea, and have to come up with about 20 different gifts, ranging from gadgets to weekends away.

It's supposed to be a surprise, so I can't just go out and ask them what they'd like (although I have tried to gather some info from some of the more trustworthy members of staff...) so any ideas or suggestions would be greatfully received :)

Thanks :)

Just get them all a years subsciption to Nuts magazine.
That should keep them happy.

The gay guys will get Esquire or GQ.

I think
they probably already have one!

The main problem I'm having is that everyone has everything already...

I'm secretly hoping some of them read this and put their own 'wants' in :)

A weekend trip
to Edinburgh and the "pubic triangle" of strip joints should keep them all amused

buy them some crack
nothing says happy christmas and good job like a good honk on a crack pipe

@Halfy
One of my friends used to live above a strip joint there.

It was bloody 'orrible

This is about the fifth time I've recommended this on b3ta. I should get commission.

A smart clock, takes a couple of days to get used to, always a talking point.

hmm...possibly
but can you get VAT receipts for them?!

INFLATABLE PENGUINS
Are the way forward. I managed to get a 3ft tall one for a friend for less than £20.
(, Wed 26 Nov 2008, 12:03, Reply)
I had one in my living room window
and then some student girl came and asked for her penguin back coz someone had taken hers, and there is obviously only one inflatable penguin in the world...

the problem is the budgets £200 per gift...

So 20 quid
is well within your budget.

Get them all ten inflatable penguins.
Sorry, I'm not being very helpful, am I? I'll try and think of a sensible suggestion.
(, Wed 26 Nov 2008, 12:09, Reply)
then we could have
inflatable penguin bowling competitions...a possible plan :)
(, Wed 26 Nov 2008, 12:10, Reply)
Only
if you can find an inflatable walrus to serve as a bowling ball.
(, Wed 26 Nov 2008, 12:11, Reply)
I think this one might be a little large...

Perhaps.
But it does look awesome.

And think how cool it would be to have that suspended from the ceiling of an open-plan office...

Head to Asda
13 cases of Stella will set you back £198.38 and will result in a joyous festive season.

The 02 XDA Atom Life
is currently running around the 200 quid mark (from what I understand).
Also the Google Android (HTC Dream). I'm not sure if they're with a new contract, though.

The Blackberry Storm just came out over here last week.

Any ladies in the office? A trip to a spa is always a good idea.
