Why?
Why is it that on QOTW, I have the option to reply to replies. But on OT, that option is never available to me, but it is to others. I find it is this way on both my home computer (MAC) and office one (PC). Is it something in my personal settings or am I just not special enough to get that option?

people asked not to have threaded/tree view replies on here.

It is still possible if you edit the URL (hence why you see some people doing it), there's just not a 'Reply' button on every post like there is on the other boards...

As discussed in today's HSH thread, I MUCH prefer flat view forums. Tree view makes it feel like it's 1995 again, you constantly have to scroll up and down to see what's been added to what bit. One of the main reasons I steer clear of /board and /talk.

Trouble is
nested replies don't appear in the reply count, so you may not realise that somebody is talking to you if you're watching more than one thread.
