ZOMG!
I went to the gym tonight and ran for a WHOLE 10 MINUTES without slowing down or stopping.

Ring the 2012 Olympic committee. I think they're going to have to re-jig their athletics list.

Hurrah fo you BGB
Back when I used to go to the gym a lot I got up to 20 Mins without stopping. I was so chuffed.

10 minutes is no mean feat and I doubt I could do it now.

Well done!!!

then keep at it mrs
i started going to the gym again about 4 months ago for the first time in over 10 years

i was proper fat (belly - double chin) and VERY unfit

at first i couldn't run 3 minutes without being a complete gasping wreck

i now walk for three mins to warm up then jog at 10K per hour on a 2% incline for 25 - 30 mins straight - walk up a steep (10%) incline for 10 mins THEN run for another 10 mins again, then walk again to cool down

pretty much an hour on a treadmill, roughly 1000 calories burned and up to 8 kilometers covered

im not boasting (i dont regard myself as fit and i am still overweight) i'm just saying it is amazing the difference you can make over a few months

i try to do this 3 times a week (i admit crimbo fucked me up and job stress right now has stopped me going for the past two weeks)

i have lost almost 3 stone and 5 inches of my waist and no longer look pregnant - and yes i am a bloke

if i survive this current redundancy threat i'm getting back on it next week

fingers crossed

It's time
when I worked 9 - 5 in an office I used to get there for 7am.
Now I work from 8 - 5 or 6 and then have to do an hour or so more work when I get home.
My job now leaves me physically and mentally exhausted at the end of the day.
My gym does open at 6 though so I might go back before work.
