Had nasal polyps
removed and a septoplasty!

Didn't hurt much until two days later when the anaesthetic totally wore off and my nose was in a world of hurt!

Yep, they're not supposed to hurt.

Unless, of course, you've already got a fair bit of metal in the bit they're scanning and the magnetism causes current to flow into the nearest nerves.
