I can afford to go
although still haven't booked a train ticket. For some reason, I tried booking a train-ticket about a month ago. For that weekend, it cost about £105 for London-Edinburgh return, but had I booked the ticket for a different weekend, it would have cost £33.

Anyway, as my office closes down for the week after Easter, I'm thinking of turning the trip into a longer Scotland trip, and explore a bit of Scotland and perhaps even have a microbash or two while I'm at it.

I wonder if their ticket pricing desk routinely scan the calendars of all the major UK boards. I would if I were them.

You might find
that they scan the UK calender and put the prices up around easter.

The irony is that they up the price, and then cut the number of trains and replace a lot of them with buses. The CUNTS.
