I'm now very sad
news.ninemsn.com.au/entertainment/788127/no-chance-neesons-wife-will-live-friend

:(
She was full of awesome and now she's dead.

I remember watching her in "The Parent Trap" and we just finished watching "Nell" in my Psychology class in school.

Very sad day for movies.

I dont know her
But Liam Neeson is a legend...

Yeah but
He can have Lisa Swayze (soon).

Can't say I'll be losing any sleep over it.
I didn't know her.

Why is it that it's never anyone genuinely useless?
The likes of Kirsty McColl and Natasha Richardson lose their lives in tragic accidents while people who genuinely make lives less pleasant for others seem to carry on living somehow.

If there were such a thing as karma, the headline would be "Prescott bummed to death by flock of runaway emus"

PJM, I agree
...but who needs karma? Surely we could arrange for the latter to happen "entirely by accident"...

Never anyone genuinely useless? I'm not usually one to mention it, but I draw the honourable gentleman's attention to a certain dying celebrity named after a mineral.

Joss Stone isn't dying...
Jade Goody might be genuinely irritating, but she's not quite in the Mandelson league of big cuntyness.

If it was between the two, I know which one I'd happily pay to watch writhe in terminal agony.

I concur with your appraisal. Perhaps we should introduce mandatory extreme sports for politicians. Bear-baiting, perhaps, or alligator-juggling.

EDIT: Just to continue with my train of thought, I imagine it's because the lovely people tend to be outgoing, positive and adventurous types who enjoy all sorts of things. These things can often be dangerous and a bit killy.

Idiotic gibbon posteriors like Prescott and Mandelson, however, are usually so busy making life pleasant for themselves that they never leave their miserable homes and offices to experience anything. If they did, perhaps they wouldn't be such self-serving swine.

I didn't really put that across very well. This must be a Thursday. Anyway, 'tis a shame.

@TP
I'm all for this. I'm going to write to my MP to put this suggestion forward.

[edit] surely it's time Thatcher fucked off to another plane of existence? I might go and buy myself a bottle to single malt to keep for the big day to celebrate.

Perspective...
She also supported 'J-Lo' in Maid in Manhattan - so she couldn't have been that good an actress.
