Endless Hurt is rather good.
And Ready to Demonstrate, I can really get my teeth into.
Nice one.

Yup. I can sing actually. I'm going for my grade five music exam in August. Like I need another exam.
But yes its fun. I haven't recorded though. :( I would like to but I can't play guitar to save my life and I don't know anyone who would back me. :(

but it seems you live quite a distance away.
I'm a "musician", but not a very good singer.
Although The Postal Service never seemed to have a problem.

I may throw my hand in to some such ring though, as I feel I probably can class myself as such. VC can tell you so.

I will definitely go for a yes then.
And yes, I could stretch to that. Am in a ceilidh band, and record stuff on my own, and attempt to write stuff too.

I have one of his songs on my iPod. Probably better then the original version IMHO.
And yeah I am a tad far away but keep a space for me - I'll come have a jam with you when I get there. I'm already going to go have a jam with Podders. Maybe we'll all jam together?

We are having a ceilidh band group recording sessions soon, and most of my own recording still needs finished. I e-mailed the song to VC as she asked nicely for it, and said nice things.

Yeah cool, would be fun.
When you over?
Although I don't know where Podders lives :S.

Mid to late november next year. I need to find out when end of year exams are - then I'm booking my tickets for a couple of days after. Pretty much going to finish school and jump on a plane out of here. :D
EDIT: When I say I'll be in cambridge - it means I'll very likely be unavailable for at least a few weeks.

One of my good friends lives in Cambridge, I shall have to conveniently schedule a trip down and we shall take Cambs by storm.
Or summat.

If I come up for air while you're down in Cambridge (god had to word that carefully!) then by all means. I'm staying with a fellow b3tan though - so may just ignore your first call if I'm otherwise "occupied".

sing, play a bit of percussion, and I can write pretty much anything on my 'puter.
If you're looking for a vocalist, put notices up in local music shops, newsagents, studios, clubs etc.
Good luck!

and am working on a new project with my drummer too
my band is here www.myspace.com/dumberthantheaveragebear
not got anything up from the new project yet though.
I've been thinking that a touring b3ta jam would be good. go round visiting all the musicians and see what they add to the mix. Discovered there's at least one drummer on here yesterday which might help.

it was someone else whose user name now escapes me
no it doesn't, Davydd Grimm. freelance black metal drummer :-)

The B3ta Band.
Too obvious?

I'm a singer/bass player.
Few b3tans have heard me play.
Pooflake and Captain Placid are in a fantastic covers band.
(, Tue 7 Apr 2009, 9:27, Reply)
that was my idea for the name too :-)
I really like Kaol's voice. it reminds me of the Cramps or someone (not the kids tv show)

The Belmers!*
Our reviews contain such gems as:-
"Get out of my pub you talentless bastards"
"Fuck me, YOU again! I thought we threw you out last time"
"Great gig but cut the swearing"
"Belmers? Never heard of them!"
*Laziest, least talented band** in Christendom.
**I say band, but it's just Pooflake and me.
(, Tue 7 Apr 2009, 9:30, Reply)
I didn't forget, see my above post!
The Belmers manage to be a great sing-along-covers band and shit-yourself hilarious at the same time.
They're not half bad for old people.
EDIT: Thanks Vipros!

Singer. Classical, and therefore possibly not what you're looking for.
(, Tue 7 Apr 2009, 10:34, Reply)
I'd still like to work with you.
my drummer and I are putting together some stuff that at the moment sounds like a cross between massive attack and pink floyd. might you be interested at some point down the line?
