I have mangaged to waste yet another night pissing about on the interwebs rather than getting on with the mountain of biology coursework I have due in for next Tuesday.
I usually quite like biology, but its an investigation of how soil moisture affects plant distribution. I counted plants for a week. How am I supposed to get motivated about that?
Any tips to make it less mind-numbingly dull would be much appreciated.

stamping on a coporate workstation, forever. The better educated you are, the more chance you have of avoiding all this.

Be it some Internetting, playing your favourite video-game or just a trip to the pub.

I'll go with spakkaman's advice.
I'll let myself watch inbetweeners at ten, provided I have written at least another two pages.
Hour and a quarter? Best get cracking.

Man the fuck up?
Just do it then get pissed - that's worked for me for the last 12 years.

Trust me, it could be worse.
Avoid microbiology, for example...
Plate cultures.
Incubate.
Look.
Repeat.
Forever.

I'm starting a four year microbiology course at uni in september.
But that actually really interests me. Its ecology that sends me to sleep.
