Why is it
that different alcohols affect you differently?
I can drink countless shots of tequila and be fine but a single glass of wine will have me on the floor.

Also
sambuca makes me really happy and flirty but cider makes me more mopey and tired.
What happens to you when you drink different things?

I can drink absurd quantities of wine
but spirits of any kind prove my undoing.

I get a bit manic on vodka before I collapse.

Wine eh?
*makes note*

True though, beer ruins me, champagne does as well.
Whisky has hardly any effect.

Wine gives me the horn.
I tend to stay away from it if I'm going to be in male company unless it's someone I'm already fraternizing with.

No other alcohol affects me this way.

Hmmmm. Given extensive research into this field
Also known as possible alcoholism I've figured out this:

Beer/wine/cider - I can drink a fair bit, but usualy get sleepy as opposed to active
Vodka - Is strange. I can apparently drink loads, feeling ok, then there's a cutoff point and I don't remember anything.
Whisky - I get tipsy after a few and become a very friendly, slightly mopey drunk.
Gin/Tequila - Absolutely mental. Climbed some scaffolding. Never again.
Sambuca/Pernod/Absnthe/Ouzo - All taste pretty similar, fairly similar effects. Very lively drunk, I start dancing, acting like a bit of an idiot. also gives me the worst hangovers known to man.

Depends on the booze with me as well.
Wine or port I can drink until the cows come home. Same with cider as well. Spirits tend to give me heartburn, and lager just makes me tired. Real ale tends to bloat me, but none of them seem to have any effect on my personality.

However, the sight of Boss Keloid after one pint of cider (falling over the furniture) will stay with me for life.

Kaol
I don't really think you need to give me wine to get me in a horizontal state :P

Hmm!
I think that's gonna have to become a new euphemism.

Feel free to use it.
I have a feeling the Unholy Trinity (Pooflake, Chartcat and SpankyHanky) will be using it before long.
