Love them or hate them, whatever. For the record, I preferred the old linear version, but no matter.
But there's a bug. The counter for the number of replies sometimes includes all the replies, including the nested ones, and other times only the top level replies. WTF?

On the plus side, since we've had the replies this way, Off Topic has been 53% more interesting.

about the SuperKaol thing.
I was working in the US last week and didn't post much on here because the internet didn't work too well in my hotel. I reckon it must have happened when I was away.

It was just something that Bert said. Made me realise how special and fantastic I am, and how much the internet needs me.

now you can actually respond to the comment you want to without writing the hideously annoying "@whoever".

that it becomes difficult to track the latest postings without having to read through the whole thread each time you refresh it.
Which is to me more of a pain in the arse than writing @b3tard.

but people rarely post anything of remote interest so I doubt I'm missing much

when there is just one reply. So if twenty responses are left to the first reply it will only register 1 on the front page, but if you add a second reply, it would then say 22, and then it works fine.

Then last weekend I went to another one, and meet some more fabulous people... and the nested replies happened, so tu-dah, I'm here !
Plus although there are a lot of great people on /talk, there are quite a few propper-bullies, and serious attention seekers, so it started to get dull.
Only thing I would like on here is on the main O.T page, a marker for new posts.

I've been really shite at being at bashes lately.
I'll be at one some time though, and your life will officially be complete.

Is much better, I can bugger off now for a bite to eat, come back, and not miss out on everyone telling me how funny, whitty, good looking and james-bond like, I am.

Work is kinda stop-start for me, so as much as I like /talk, I've not really got time for it.
