This afternoon
I chose to learn about "Modelling uncertainty" over finishing laying the last bit of my living-room floor.

What obscure statistics based discrete mathematical topics have you learnt today in favour of long overdue DIY projects?

I have a feeling this question may have incredibly limited scope.

I've just......
........Trawled through a database of non-carrier medical approved acrylic adhesives instead of hanging out my washing.
Does that count?

Instead of learning about slew rate
I decided to brush up on integration. However, unpon further checking when I went back to slew rate, the two seem somehow connected, so my time wasting has, in a way, backfired.

Isn't slew rate
more connected with differentiation rather than integration?

It is - can't remember the exact name
Something like difference theory. Not sure. As integration and differentiation are, to an extent, the same thing but the reverse, it ended up helping me a bit.

I read up on
Cartesian dualism rather than clean my bathroom floor.

Now I have to chose between comprehending Marxist objectification or washing the pan in which I fried the chicken.

Sorry, no stats stuff. I really like stats stuff though. I'd do stats over any of this crap.
