Depending on how you define success.
Kid runs library of banned books out of locker, other students previously uninterested in reading now clamouring for more.
Awesome. :)

She's quite right to be doing this. Good on her.
Banning books in this day and age, because they mention things opposed to Catholicism? How bloody narrow minded is that?

fair enough, trade them at school, but I wouldn't keep the locker next to mine filled with books as the school has the right to access it at any time. I'd do it from home and bring in specific books for people instead.

Restricting the books only makes them more popular. Unless it's a sneaky way to get the kids to read more whilst looking like they're upholding the parents morals. What this girl is doing is excellent.
I do agree with Becky though, she should keep them at home really. Although, there is more of a chance she'd be caught with them in her bag.

Having young people clamouring to read is the key positive message from this.
Edit: I just looked at the list of books that are banned and there are some very odd ones in there that get me a little suspicious including Catch22 and H2G2.

Reddit points out that in a previous question she asked for a list of banned books. And her profile says she wants to write screenplays. Still, it's a nice story. :)
