As you know, the Resident Loon has been made redundant and is feeling fed up as no work as yet has been forthcoming.
I think lots of gaz messages from his pals on here, giving hugs, cake, your mum etc and general good wishes will cheer him up a little and help him remember the good times.
I know you're all rooting for him so let's remind him.
And becky, we're all rooting for you too.

I don't know him so I won't gaz him but this is becoming increasingly common here. We don't have anywhere near the benefits you get in the UK when made redundant either.
They have been getting rid of a lot of people in my office and its just going to get worse.

for anybody, since the one person I want to root with is in another country :( I haven't seen him for so many weeks I've lost count, and I don't know when I'll see him next. But rest assured when we do see each other we will be rooting for everybody.
*is also despondant*

But you'll get him. You will. There's a happy ending for everyone, somewhere.

We're hopeless, been texting each other the same soppy shit every day... "wish I was with you"... "miss you"... "can't wait to see you"... "I want your boobies/cock" etc...
But we haven't given up. We WILL live happily ever after, with children and chickens and a Jack Russell called Gaspode, and stuff.
We just don't know when... *sighs like a professional sigher*

This is like me and my girlfriend. Well, it's become a lot less recently. But that's pretty much what we used be doing. Just the knowledge it will happen keeps things going!

I think senior loon was the first b3tan I ever spoke to and he's a quality bloke by any measure.
Being out of work sucks, looking for work sucks, interviews suck. Hope he can suck it up and get through it.
Unemployable by Pearl Jam is a bitter sweet song about unemployment. I'm the type of person who feels better about a depressing situation by listening to a depressing song about the subject matter in question. If ye feel the same, click here.
