Where do you find good cheap late deals on family holidays?

I need to spend some redundancy money on happy things and sunshine.

Also they'll be more up to date. "They" being whoever you phone, just make sure "they" are a holiday company and not, say, a whore although you could then still spend your money...

hotels.com
usually has some pretty decent rates. check out tripadvisor.com for visitor reviews of most hotels on the planet.
