I have beer

And an overwhelming sense of the weekend, tinged slightly by the fact that things may have gone slightly tits up for us and Tightly's bash.

But I haven't seen you in ages and I've still not met your good lady wife

We booked 3 months ago, told her folks so they could have Sweary Jr for the weekend - they just informed us yesterday that they've booked a week away in the last few days, starting on the 13th and swear blind they didn't know about us coming to London.
So we're trying to find some way of him being able to stay with a mate, otherwise it's just one of us coming down. It's that or lose £170 as we can't get a refund.

Or is he not old/trusted enough to stay home by himself?
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 20:38, Reply)

so not an option.
Looking into staying with a mate though.

Been looking forward to this for ages. Even looked into SJ coming with us, train is cheap enough, but 13 year oldboy + busy pub not a good combination :(

He'd get on a storm with a lot of you, but pub reviews suggest that it's not child friendly :(

You could just buy him a travel card and tell him to have a look like London on his own.

Should kill a few hours for him. Plus, it might bore him enough to send him to sleep, thus killing even more hours...

besides, I'm at work otherwise I'd be sloshing about as we speak
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 20:37, Reply)

I think my brother's coming back here in a few months, so I'll ask him to fill his suitcase with it again. He just sent me a new consignment of original ruffles and jolly ranchers, so I'm good for the moment.

Have you had the lifesaver's suckers?
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 20:49, Reply)

I may have to get myself one after work
edit: I tried to find a link but they don't have one for the lollipops.
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 20:57, Reply)

that spoils all the good sweets when you find a grape one.

You can get an 18lb bag of them for not much money. I want to try the cherry/banana ones. They look muchos tasty
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 21:03, Reply)

Hell no. The blueberry/vanilla ones look good though...
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 21:06, Reply)

and the fact that they'll be gone very very soon. When I have a job I'm so ordering
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 21:10, Reply)

I might take a wander to Covent garden tomorrow to get some
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 21:11, Reply)

I put it to you, madam, that you are stalking me. IN REAL LIFE.
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 21:13, Reply)

Depends what time you're gonna be there. I'll be in Moss Bros getting wedding suits.
( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 21:21, Reply)

( , Fri 5 Jun 2009, 21:23, Reply)
