No, no, no, no, no!
I've recently finished watching season 7 and it's still mainly superb. It's the Simpsons that's gone massively downhill. Just finished wathing season 20 and some episodes in that are just bizarre. But at least they've finally gone into widescreen.

Mainly superb?
A three minute clip of Conway Twity is not even ok, it's laziness on the part of the animators and piss-poor writing.

Season 4 was ok, 5 was watchable, but it went downhill from there.

The Conway Twity bit(s) pissed me off
But I still enjoy FG.

I still enjoy the more recent Family Guy
But I think Sandettie has a point. They've become increasingly formulaic since the fourth series. They're still funny - bloody funny in some cases - but the plots just don't show the same imagination that the first few series had, and in some cases it does feel a bit like the writers are just cranking a handle.

Still enjoyed the "Bird is the Word" episode just for its sheer, unadulterated silliness, mind...

Sure, Conway Twitty was annoying
But their bit on stem cells? LOVED IT.

The Road To Germany episode...
Was possibly the funniest one they've ever done!
