Blooming right
Can't wait till it's finished.

Currently saving for a Fender Tele... A standard USA I think will be the stuff of my dreams. Will probably end up lumping for a Mexican though.

get the US
even if it bankrupts you. they are much nicer. also, if you get a tele, get black with a black scratchplate with a white outline. that looks the business

You know you're right
But I'm digging red guitars right now. Maybe even white.

Black is a bit goth for an Alternative Rock / Punk man like myself. Fuck knows.. The American dream is a long way off right now considering I'm also trying to switch jobs.

Does it make a big difference?
I was considering getting a new strat with a Humbucker at the bridge position but I wasn't sure it would be worth it since I currently have an Epiphone with two humbuckers.

it depends on what you want it for
I have an american strat, and as I'm mostly playing blues-rock type stuff I mostly use the neck pickup, but having the humbucker gives more versatility. can get a good crunchy metal sound out of it with the humbucker, or just a bit more brightness and volume when clean.

this is what mine looks like, but I've put a black scratchplate on.
