If you could take any TV show, and get anyone to write the scripts, who would you have?
I'd get Al to start writing the Neighbours scripts. Might actually make it interesting.

Is rumoured to be providing a script next year.
Mind you, Stephen Fry was supposed to a couple of years ago and it didn't happen as he was too busy.

I can see the news now...
Today in Salisbury a badger ate a mans shoe, while in Tisbury gnomes were trampled by an army of cats wearing socks on their heads.
I would tune in for that!

Also at any given moment in the day, 'I live in your eyes' pops into my head and I can't stop from giggling.

I will wear a tiny mammal, and then I will take it, place it in a vice, eh!
Summer is a-comin', and then we take crabs, and place them on our eyes, and eat them eat them eat them, take the tiny crabs and shoot them shoot them shoot them, kill the crabs!
gets stuck in my head at work.

I've seen him do that live. It was good on the dvd, but live it's fucking brillaint.

Same here. I saw him the night the DVD was filmed for Tinselworm, I was right near the front too! :)
I think quite a lot was cut out of that show for the DVD, they missed out his whole choking on water, dribbling thing. :(

Having had a look at the out-takes, I think they missed the thing with the extendable horn too, which would have been good to see. Seeing him again in a couple of months in Oxford, so I'll be intrigued to see if it's changed much since January.

He must have had the horn fixed by London as he managed to break it somewhat.
( , Thu 11 Jun 2009, 9:18, Reply)

He did! He went through a whole thing explaining how he had broken it.

written by CHCB.
I think a little bit of the bleakly cynical, Norn-Oirish edge would give that show the kick up the arse it's needed since about mid-way through the third series.
(Yes, I actually followed it for two and a half series...)
