You're all perky with excessive sleep.
I got maybe an hour or two tops.

I had 9 hours last night
That's as much as the previous three nights combined...

I'm determined to get into a better routine during my week off and make it stick when I get back to work. I'm buzzing with excitement at the moment though. Tonight will be awesome so long as I don't get too drunk and make illconcieved phone calls...I really want to get drunk though :/

:edit: On second thouhghts I probably had 10.

sounds like fun V,
maybe lock your phone and give it to someone else? Then you can get as pissed as you like.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:09, Reply)
No problem...
if I see his phone in his hand, I'll punch him in the face.

not too gently I hope,
the message wouldn't get through then! :)

only kidding V!

In addition
Can you punch me in the face if I start going on about women? I'm so anxious/nervous about this weekend and excited/anxious/nervous about next weekend that I could ramble all night.

Going to try and restrain myself as it'd be boring for everybody but I could do with a face punching insurance policy.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:15, Reply)
when I get there,
I'll be happy to join clendrix in an insurance policy as such.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:17, Reply)
I'm hoping that by then it wont be required
If I don't know what's going on with her by then something aint right!
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:19, Reply)
agreed.
:)
But as a precautionary measure. :P
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:20, Reply)
Admit it
You just want to hit me!
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:22, Reply)
never!
haven't got a violent bone in my body. It'd be more like restraining you while clenders delivers.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:25, Reply)
Being restrained by a lady
Can't really complain about that.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:35, Reply)
I was thinking that
But I'd want to be able to reply to texts and things. I'm starting to feel a little bit manic with my enthusiasm for life at the moment so drinking heavily is probably the worst thing I could be doing anyway.

Still doesn't stop me wanting to though!
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:13, Reply)
What about just getting a little bit drunk?
*talks to thin air*
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:14, Reply)
Hmmm
This reminds me of the time I decided to *only* have 26 shots of Tequila; I ended up drinking 40. That was a very messy night.

I'm going to stick to pints tonight. I can't drink them quickly enough to get hammered unless it's stuff like Old Rosie.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:17, Reply)
christ on a bicycle!
I'd be dead at "only" 26!
you must have been fairly ill afterwards!
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:18, Reply)
I was horrendously drunk
A couple of bouncers were contemplating calling an ambulence when they found me unconcious in a gutter. Unfortunately my girlfriend at the time arrived to collect me and take me home (It would've been a lot better for all involved if I'd been taken to hospital).

Oddly enough I woke up at 10am the next day completely sober and without a hangover.

Oh, might I add the whole escapade involved riding a bike beside a river between pubs (we visited 7, then 6 of them a second time on the way back) and for the last quarter of the journey I was carrying an iron garden chair on my back!

Apparently there were some interesting moments when we got back to our local...
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:21, Reply)
oh gosh.
that's um...
that's actually pretty hilarious - the garden chair bit at least!

why did you drink so much?
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:26, Reply)
It was our anaual summer bike pub crawl
You have to drink at every pub, no soft drinks are allowed and the only time you can eat is at the final pub before turning around and coming back again.

As I feel really sick if I drink more than 4 pints in one go I decided to drink shots instead and as 2 shots is roughly equivalent to 1 pint I intended to drink 2 in each pub (hence 26 shots). Unfortunately as the day went on people were drinking slower and slower so I started to get bored in the pubs. At one point I wondered off for some cash, into a pub opposite an ex's house and had a double scotch in there, went back to everybody else then folded up a garden chair, put it through the straps of my rucksack and took it with me. This kind of extra drinking went on in most of the last few pubs.

I didn't fall off my bike until we were about 5 mins from our local which I'm amazed about considering I could barely walk!

It's been decided that somebody has to take up the "[Captain V] challenge" if we do it again this year. I might try it again myself if I can work out how to avoid drinking more than 2 shots per pub.

O_o
*was too drunk to speak or do anything after 10 units*

I commend you, sir.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:29, Reply)
It wasn't as bad as it sounds
As it was spread out over an afternoon. Probably averaged out to about 6 shots per hour. Actually it sounds even worse when I say it like that...

:edit: And I couldn't survive that now...
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:34, Reply)
There've been two incidents where I've majorly overdone it
One was 10 units in an evening...
The other was probably 10 units in about half an hour.

Woo drugs!

I get sick as well, so it was interesting to say the least. The first night has to be the funniest/weirdest night of my life. Won't go into details, but it culminated in me going back home and inappropriately touching my best (male) friend, while thinking it was actually his boyfriend.
The best part? I bought one drink. I spent £2. Including taxi/entry fee. SCORE!
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:37, Reply)
Oh
I didn't throw up that day either :) I've only thrown up 2 or 3 times through drinking and one of those was the first time that I'd ever had more than a sip of alcohol in one go...I had 4 pints.

And there's nowt wrong with inappropriate groping. It's when you inappropriately expose yourself to a female friend, in a pub, while you girlfriend is standing next to you that you should be ashamed!
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:39, Reply)
You're a fucking MACHINE.
I wish I had your liver/gag reflex.

Just saw your edit:
Well, giving someone a handjob, then saying to the boyfriend of the person you were doing it to "Why didn't you stop me, you slag?"

BIT of an awkward moment there.
I'm actually a rapist when drunk.

EDIT: this is not very clear.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:40, Reply)
My gag reflex seems to be inconsistient
Things with the girth of a cock make me gag but I can't make myself gag with my fingers anymore (which is actually problematic as I have problems swallowing).
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:44, Reply)
I lol'd at "girth of a cock"
I have no problem with THAT sort of thing, but food I don't like, or textures that i don't like, or alcohol? It all comes back up again!

*grins*
*has gone too far*
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:45, Reply)
I have a tendancy to throw up if I have even one drink too many,
so only have one every hour and a half if out with a friend. I know - I'm no fun. boo hoo. :P
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:45, Reply)
Of course
People cannot be fun unless pissed!

Time to get ready to go out. I'm going to miss my train though :/
(, Sat 13 Jun 2009, 15:47, Reply)
not saying that I don't get pissed,
just that I get pissed slowly.
I'm a very giggly girl when I'm tipsy which is how I like it.
