but my mum said that was something I could do in my spare time. One of the reasons I admire chickenlady so much is that she does it FOR REAL.
I also wanted to be am archaeologist - that's still my passion - so I became one but there was no future in that so now I'm a professional geek, though I prefer my official title of Lecturer in Computer Science.

And anyway, I don't like the sun. I'd get burned to a crisp.
I'm not in gainful employment yet. I want to work for Lush over the summer, but need to apply for that ^_^ But as for future plans, I dunno.

It's the cheap stuff that attracts me - at the moment I have sliced lemons and effervescent Vitamin C tablets in the bath, because I can't have anything else :/
Other than that, I'll probably just go for a standard job over the summer. Don't know what area, but hopefully NOT waitressing.

I thought she smelt gorgeous all the time, but she had grown to find the lingering fragrance as abhorent as the pervasive smell of chipfat that covered me when I worked in a kitchen.

But she ended up using her A-level German to get a job in Germany as a translator and has been there ever since. I think she's now an office manager over there.
