I used to want to be a scientist.
To the extent that, at the age of 8, I cut up a heart and lungs and drew diagrams, and moved onto fish the next week.
I'm vegetarian.
As I advanced in my studies, I realised I just couldn't be arsed with maths; I was decent at it, but I had to work quite hard for things to click, and I didn't like it THAT much. Did it for 3 lessons at AS, decided it wasn't for me when I couldn't do cubics, and RAN.

I'm never going to be a teacher, being the spawn of one myself. I also wanted to be a writer, or in advertising, when I was younger.
Now? Fuck knows.

Veggie?!?!?!
Oh dear.

I swear I've told you that.
Didn't I tell you the story that I promised my ex-boyfriend he could cover me in bacon and eat it off for his next birthday?
(We got together 5 days after his birthday- that's the one who dumped me for being "physically unattractive")

Now...
The thought of eating bacon off someone is not really one that appeals to me, mainly because I like mine to be so hot it's still sizzling as I bite.

But he just sounds like a cunt nonetheless!

Ha, no, he's a lovely boy
I love him to bits. But yeah, he could have been nicer to me! But at least he told me straight out that he was having doubts rather than just stringing me along...

Ah well
Still no need to act a cunt

You could still be a biologist
As long as you can fudge the stats and you're not veering towards something like ecology, you don't need all that much maths to be a half-decent biological type.

I'm just finishing A2s
In Latin, Ancient Greek and History.

I last did biology as Dual Award at GCSE.
(got an A* though ^_^ not that it means anything!)

I'm not very scientific, I went down the arts route. Though I did entertain the notion of doing Physics to AS instead of Music.

Don't rule it out yet
Everybody biologist needs to know his/her Latin if they're to get any taxonomy done.

The sciency bit is useful as well, of course...

that reminds me of when someone asked what the point of Latin was to my teacher
(who was 25 at the time)

She exploded and shouted at the girl for a whole lesson, about how useful it is. And when she asked us what we thought it was useful for, "naming parts of the body" came up and she almost collapsed.

Ideal job probably would be writing books on penises, or being secetary to Simon Goldhill.

What does being vegetarian have to do with it
you cut them up, you didn't eat them

My sister, lifelong vegetarian, is so squeamish about meat she can't even touch it
So she thought it was disgusting.
And I am 8, going into a butchers for the first time...

I've got a photo of me holding the bleeding heart in my hands, I should try and find it.
