I shall go for a run later and probably crackle with positivity afterwards.
I hope it lasts.
Give me your good news people. I need to keep this natural high going.

However my new house is lovely, loads of people have agreed to turn up for the housewarming, and we're getting in a new housemate to make it even cheaper. Which is nice. And I have a job with people who are actually human beings rather than cerebrally-deficient idiots.

So I stayed off work, sorted out my house, sorted out my sun-allergic face, and gently eased myself into the week.
Now I just need to do some more work.
I feel loads better though : )

Birds sing, flowers bloom and smell not of cyanide, walking along the river is a delight.

His GF is about 62 (I think). Going on 45 though. She's daft as a ships cat. She needs to be to put up with him. And that's not just a cliche.

Just got back from a vigorous session with my chiropractor. He couldn't quite get my head screwed on straight in one go though, so I'm back on Thursday for that.

and I just bought £20 of groceries on ASDA online for a mate who's skint. As surprises go, I'm sure she would have prefered a naked bloke for sexytiem funs, but groceries is what she got. Probably more satisfying in the long run, and besides...if I knew where to easily obtain naked men for that sort of thing I would probably..well, I don't know. Farm them out, or something!
Any volunteers for a free range man farm?

in that there London admittedly, but Jesca Hoop is Californian so I didn't think I'd get to see her live. Then I type her into facebook and lo and behold there's a gig in London in July! On a barge! I'm well chuffed.

I have had in my mind the germ of a thesis on 'the Carry On films as a barometer of British society and attitudes' for some years now. You really can see the changes in attitudes to what was acceptable both in terms of nudity, swearing etc (getting slacker as the films progressed) and in attitudes to women (getting a bit less 'slap the secretary's arse' and ever-so-slightly more girl-power-ish as seen in the later Beauty Contest film) and so on. With a section dealing with how the films eventually died on their arses because society had moved so far from its position when the first films were made as to render them obsolete.
I really have thought a great deal too much about this.
PHWOOOOAARRRR! There, that's better.
