not with any ease:
it defaults to a shitty selection of ringtones and no choice for other alerts if I remember correctly, you can fuck about in iTunes for ages to convert a perfectly good .mp3 in to a .m4a specially tagged to be recogniseable to the handset as a ringer but that's been more hassle then it has been worth up until now! *Considers current free time situtation, decides to make a ringtone tomorrow*
