Tesco used to stock a lovely chickpea pate which I would regularly purchase and then they suddenly stopped stocking it. Found out today that Asda has stopped stocking my favorite high fibre loaf that I get for my sarnies at work. I know for a fact that it used to sell well because they kept running out and the bakery manager told me they would be getting more in. Bastards!
And don't get me started on when they move everything round so we'll buy more. NO! I just take longer to find the stuff I regularly buy.
Plonkers!

I haven't got time to be making my own pate and bread.

Supermarkets never move stuff around. It's just you, you know.

'cause I'm sure I've seen that chickpea pate at mine. Try a different/larger branch?

The one I got was in a slab and was chickpea and red pepper pate.

I'm not sure I'm posh and high flying enough to note that there are two kinds of chickpea pate! Is it on the online groceries bit, perhaps you can get it that way?
Failing that - waitrose might have something similar...?
