My mate questioned the illegality of beastiality because although they claim it's abusing animals, if you tried it on with an animal against its will, it would either attack you, or fuck off away from you. I told him he needs his bumps felt.

That you could, in theory overpower and sexually assault.
Just because you could, it's still a terrible thing to do.
So no. Sex with animals is not good.
Unless they ask for it first.

It's an animal
If we are doing something that benefits us (eating them, using them for labour, having sex with them) then, in my opinion, it's almost always immoral to care about the animal's welfare.
