Evening all
How're folk? I have managed a feat today which would make OCD suffering anal retentives wibble ...... I spent 3 hours cleaning my bathroom. It wasn't 'How clean is your house dirty' but it wasn't pristine.

We have guests at the weekend so wanted it to look acceptable, kind of got carried away.

Evenin' Spunky
OCD and cleaning make for a very clean house.

Perhaps someone should set up an agency that rents out cleaners with specific mental disorders for those specialised cleaning-tasks.

I'm going to clean my entire flat this weekend.
Flatmate has decided to go and see his family for the weekend so I want to tart the place up a bit...

Tarting the place up
Does that involve putting heavy make-up on the furniture and dressing the table/chair legs in sexy lingerie?

Not initially
but that sounds like quite a good idea. Rocky Horror flat FTW!

Didn't Victorian types cover furniture legs
as they percieved them to be provocative?

Yup.
Ankles were as rude as spread mimsy.

But they rubbed beeswax onto furniture
Makes you wonder what passed for foreplay in Victorian times.

You have to pick your moment otherwise people just get in the way - Or even worse: Interfere!

Spakka, You've no idea how bad it is. I've got a collection of old tooth brushes which I use to clean the grouting on the tiles and the tap spouts.
