What is this Ovistore thing?An iPhone worshipping friend of mine was raving about it but I haven't the dickens what it is

Ovi is nokia's failed attempt to take over the social networking scene, the full browser version is slow and clunky, filled with so much javascript that nothing really works.But they've seen the error of their ways and allowed widgets/mini-apps to allow intrigation into pretty much anything.
OviStore is an 'App Store' from Nokia.
