Dj Shadow - Endtroducing
Faith No More - Angel Dust
Jeff Wayne's WOTW
Daft Punk - Homework
LCD Soundsystem - Fabriclive36 (Do mix albums count?)
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Self Titled
Toots & The Maytals - Funky Kingston
All on vinyl (except LCD) cos I'm a snob like that.

Interesting choice!
I like it, but I'm surprised. Any reason you prefer it to the others?

Angel Dust is more complete as an album with better, more memorable songs, plus, lads of a certain age will equate that album with the zeitgeist that spawned Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Radioheads, 'The Bends', dEUS, 'Worst Case Scenario' and other such classics of an age in which MTV was occasionally watchable.

pretty much sums it up. I was 13, it was a huge album for me. Really opened me up musically speaking... Faith No More turned me on to a lot of other genres.

I'd forgotten about the age thing, to be fair, as I happened upon them fairly late by contrast.

You know, I've always found 'Discovery' eminently more listenable especially when chewing your face off.
