She convinced the birthday girl to have a house party at her house on the same night

It all sounds a bit whingey to me

what a fucking bitch. in that case you probably need to tell the birthday girl that you were organising a surprise party. it'll ruin the surprise, but that can't be helped. make sure you get across that your ex-friend knew about the party and tried to disrupt it.

She won't in anyway let me just join forces. I emailed her weeks ago, inviting her in an olive branch fashion and this was the result
edit.

like that.
Best place to vent is this....
I was actually proper upset about it...

that was a really vindictive thing that she did, fair enough you fell out and all that, but to spoil something for someone else purely to get back at you is well out of order.

but make sure everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is aware of why it is no longer a surprise and why. Then you won't have to cunt her in the fuck yersel.

seconded. The sooner everyone knows that you were being a really good friend to the birthday girl and organising a party for her, and the sooner the birthday girl knows this herself, the less damage can be caused by the other bitch.

You'll have to ruin the surpirse element which is a shame, and then kick the shit of the little bitch for fucking up!
