Surely
by being patient and waiting for someone to come along who DOES want this gives you a better chance of finding a quality fella? Either that or stalk them online and send them pm's with knitting patterns in them.

Tried mysinglefriend.com? Not tried it myself but a couple of friends who'd had trouble elsewhere said this site was great.
