I've been on a couple of dating websites for two weeks now and I'm astounded, (although not really surprised), by the amount of guys who will not entertain the idea of going out with a slightly older women. I'm only talking 3 or 4 years older and not a decade or more. It is really pissing me off. I would be open to any age from 35 to 55 and yet most of the 40+ guys just want much younger women.
I really wish I had the time to contact them all and give them a bollocking.

I want a man who remembers life before mobile phones.
Edit - Plus I'm not really milf material.

Of which I am not.

by being patient and waiting for someone to come along who DOES want this gives you a better chance of finding a quality fella? Either that or stalk them online and send them pm's with knitting patterns in them.
Tried mysinglefriend.com? Not tried it myself but a couple of friends who'd had trouble elsewhere said this site was great.

My profile is quite humerous and straight forward about what I want and yet I have only been contacted by the most boring gits who really have nothing in common with me. WTF!

with the thought that they probably only want to date younger women because they're shit in bed, and think that younger, less experienced women won't be able to tell. Therefore they're about as much use to you as a jam sandwich in a hailstorm.

Mid life crisis or what? Are they looking for a soul mate or a trophy girlfriend? Methinks the latter for the most part.

if you open the image, the dalek is in the top of the screen.
if you search the address, turn left, then start looking up - go all the way for an under-Dalek view

And my mother is still trying to come to terms with you being my boyfriend. I think I've brought shame on the family.

...to satisfy their shallower urges. Anyone who demonstrates wit, brains and depth to their personality can frighten some people off.
Having met BGB I can safely say that they don't know what they're missing as she's lovely.

And no, I haven't been on any dates yet although there was an old Hungarian man who wanted to know if I liked kinky sex.
I was tempted for a millisecond : /

The fact they're looking to satisfy their craving for younger flesh is probably one of the reasons they're stuck on these dating websites in the first place.
Persevere, you'll find someone - not all men are opposed to the idea of an older woman. All of the (few) girlfriends I've had have been older than me - just by a few months in some cases, and quite by accident, but I'm beginning to wonder if there's a trend!
