Totally by accident
everything I seem to read at the moment is about vampires or zombies, I seem to be drawn to that sort of book for whatever reason. I’m currently reading The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro and its getting really exciting now!

So my question is this – what is you favourite book or film which contains vampires? My favourite vampy book is I Am Legend by Richard Matheson and my favourite vampy film is probably The Lost Boys.

It was creepy, but kinda touching in places.

I think it will be good! I have bad feelings about the american re-make though!! :S

This ^
I'd crawl over burning coals to shag Spike.
Best of all the vampires, including Kaol ;o)
(, Thu 23 Jul 2009, 16:00, Reply)
Spike?
Never! He may be the funniest, but the only vampire I'd endure hot coal-induced pain for is Angel.

Edit: Actually, I reckon Angelus is sexier.
(, Thu 23 Jul 2009, 16:03, Reply)
*would totally shag spike fives*

(, Thu 23 Jul 2009, 16:05, Reply)
I'm currently
Rereading World War Z, and like you all of the books I';ve been reading lately are about zombies.

The best one I can suggest is the Autumn series, it's all about character development, and great!
(, Thu 23 Jul 2009, 15:53, Reply)
Bram Stokers Dracula
Scared the shite out of me as an 8 year old. I really shouldn't have watched those disturbing 80's/early 90's horror films which had actual costumes and Jim Henson style effects rather than CGI.

But Lost Boys is my favourite. Whateverrr haapeeeeeeeennnnned to COREY HAIM!
(, Thu 23 Jul 2009, 16:01, Reply)
Was it
Haim that got really fat??

Apparently there is a Lost Boys 3 in the pipeline! Hehehe
(, Thu 23 Jul 2009, 16:09, Reply)
I guess the Anita Blake books
at least the early ones before it's all porn all the time.
(, Thu 23 Jul 2009, 16:11, Reply)
Agreed
Once the porn took over they got shite!
