It's mostly scripted, the people that got involved know the reputation of the show, and a lot of their un-PC stuff is mainly a bing finger up to the constant complaints they get from humourless Daily Mail reading grief monkeys.

And Marinas are shit. 99% of what British Leyland did was shit. It's OK to laugh at one of them, even if a B3tan is part of the Marina Owner's Club.

I stopped watching it a couple of years ago.
It got overly-scripted, the presenters became caricatures of themselves and it just generally started to bug me.

Top Gear is still ace
I admit it's not as good as it was, but "got shit" is going a bit far.

It makes me laugh every week and not many shows do that. I don't hold its scriptedness and characturification against it. Almost all other TV shows have that and they're nowhere near as good.

The Marina
was barely excusable, the Ital was shit however.

However, it pales compared to the Austin Allegro Vanden Plas.
