If you can show that they've stolen from you rather than the other way round
then go to the editor.

hmm
would be fairly easy to show he stole from me. his article came out 6 weeks after mine. almost all of the quotes are identical, and there are major chunks he's lifted word-for-word, the lazy fucker. thing is, he's knowledgeable enough on the subject matter that he wouldn't have had to steal. that's what makes it more baffling.

and also once he's been caught out
he'll be able to put his side of the story to the editor before you get to him
