His only crime
is that he made them look stupid. The guy is obviously mentally ill but extremely talented. When Uncle USA says roll over though, Britain lubes up and assumes the position.
Poor bastard does not deserve to spend the rest of his life in a foreign jail, but since when did they (or we by proxy) give a fuck about human rights anymore. At least they didn't torture him first. /Rant

Edit: Oh, hi OT'ers by the way, I think that may have been my OT cherry. I'm fluffy really, just feel sorry for the guy.

If he was a us citizen, I think it's really unlikely that he could be convicted of anything
in a US Court because of his condition.

That said, this country can often be as autistic as he is as there are people still trying to portray a boy as a vicious terrorist who when 12 (and probably brainwashed by religion) was convinced to try to throw a grenade at an american army vehicle invading his country.

What an extreme waste of money, effort, energy, and time to torture a person who really has no grasp on reality and his family. This doesn’t do anyone any good.

I'm
not sure he's *that* talented. I mean, he didn't tunnel through to the machines he was aiming at, he didn't clear log files behind himself, and to top it off, he actually conversed with a user at one of the machines (through typing in WordPad in Windows) and used his real email address.

I don't agree with his extradition, but he does sound like a bit of a numpty.

Some of the stuff he missed is hacking-101.

The us government should consider this a learning experience and try to actually
put a little security on their systems. If this kid could get in, think what a really focused attack could do.
