I'm looking for a phone and broadband bundle. I don't currently have a BT line so I'm looking for a good deal for the line and broadband together. I'd obviously prefer a fair use unlimited download policy to a stupid 30 or 40 gig limit.
Any suggestions?
Edit: Thankyou for your recommendations and for confirming my suspicions about TGB.

means you don't have to deal with BT at all which can only be a good thing. Never had any problems with them and have no download limit as far as I know. never reached one anyway and I dl quite a lot of stuff.

and they're in the lead at the moment, although we don't have cable here as far as I know. If they do copper I'll be interested. I love my backwater town!

so I am guessing their unlimited download is correct!

How the hell did you download 25gig in two days?

by my (probably wrong) calculations a download speed of 150k per second for 48 hours is enough to download about 25 gig.
easy

I've probably done 25gig over the past six weeks on games, movies and music... But in two days?

That would be easily achievable if you wanted to do it. I downloaded two programmes on iPlayer the other day, in HD. Took up 3.5GB and downloaded in about 5 minutes. So another hour or so of downloading would soon fill up 25GB.
Admittedly that was at work, on a nice fast connection. I wouldn't waste my 10GB home allowance on such things!

I was getting well into Smallville on E4 last year. I was really enjoying it, it was getting interesting and loads of shit was about to go off with Lex and his dad and Clark. One thursday evening I turned it on and it was the pilot episode. I screamed like a walrus with a javelin in its side.

that says more people would give up holidays than give up their broadband/television packages.
Bollocks to that. I've got different priorities in life. I could live without watching telly and I can use teh interwebs at work. But I like my holidays.

I hear what you're saying, but I agree with those people :)

I have no way of saying whether it's better than anyone else - but I get words and pictures through the phoneline, so I'm happy...

I get smug-right-on-public-ownership satisfaction, too.

I'll check it out. Do they supply your phone line too?

do you have to get in a queue with a bunch of chavs and OAPs and wait hours to download your stuff?

it's amusing me more than it should.

Unlimited usage, seriously fast interwebs (14mb/s) and a actually helpful customer service team!
