On two fronts.
1) I'm hoping to go to the Launch Party for Diablo Swing Orchestra's new album on 2nd Oct. However, it's at the Purple Turtle in Camden, and having never been to London in my life, I have no idea where this is. Does anyone know which train station this is nearest to, and also of any cheap hotels/B&Bs nearby?
2) How the hell are you supposed to get wax (of the hair-removing kind) out of a carpet, without actually cutting it out?
Much appreciated.

It's an easy mistake to make.
EDIT: lmgtfy.com/?q=purple+turtle+camden - there's a map and everything.

All I can think of for the wax is to heat it up some how then use babyoil or something to help remove it.

2) put some brown paper or something over it and iron the top on a low setting, make sure the paper isn't covered in wax though or it'll make it worse.

I would have been more confused if you hadn't told me you were going to reverse them.

OH PSYCHO! Thank you ever so much! What would I do without you *throws self at feet* The only way I can ever hope to repay you is if you will accompany me to the party.
Better?
Seriously though. Thank you - much appreciated.

1 - Mornington Crescent
2 - Wash it out with boiling toluene. That's a scientist's answer. It has no regard for the practicalities of washing a carpet with boiling toluene...

smells lovely too.
Although it's probably a bit carcinogenic.
