My family is 30% left handed
instead of the usual 8%. In our family castle in the Scottish borders the spiral staircases go the other way to account for this.

My surname is a term for left handed in that area.

Bit of judicious tying of the right hand behind the back and she'll be a southpaw in no time. Currently she can only say about five words so writing's little bit far off but her mum thinks she favours the left, so all should be well.

If not, I'll just disown her. Problem solved.

I only found out I was left handed when I broke my left arm and found out I could not write with my arm in a sling. It got me extra time off school until the cast was removed. I was eight.
I do enjoy leaving some of my special stuff around for freaks to use. Left handed scissors and tin opener are the best. Now you know what it's like you right handed bastards.

I'm sort of a fraud though as certain pursuits are reserved for the right hand only.

I do everything right handed except
Eating and Skateboarding

But it doesn't make sence to me that its that way round. I keep my strongest foot on the board for balance and my fork in my strongest hand so I don't shove my food in my eye or something.
