when I eventually get round to watching an episode of House
I hope it doesn't turn out to be one of those things that everyone raves about that is actually fucking shit.

You can't just watch an episode of House and expect to get it.
It's all about the personalities and what the characters think of each other. Or something.

*treatment makes patient better*

Easy to think
but you're missing out the development of the relationships of everyone around House.

The medical plot is fairly formulaic, but others are not.

everything else is just progress.

The finale to season 5 was just incredible, I had goosebumps when "LOST" came up black on a white background, so simple yet so effective (especially considering what had just happened).

You're right about wanting Season 6. I can't wait either, the ending to Season 5 was pretty damn good, I didn't see the twist coming at all.
