In case anyone cares enough or wanted me to be wrong enough, My wifes mother has just remarried and officially adopted his kids making my wifes ex boyfriend her brother and my brother in law.
It also means any time my wife has a go at me I can say "Ha yeah but you fucked your brother"

Adopted siblings are your legal brothers and sistershe may also be her step brother but he is legally her brother. Either way he is my father in laws son.
