No one knows why I like the guy I REALLY fancy. I don't. He doesn't. All our/his friends give me funny looks when I tell them I do.

I have low self esteem because I put on a lot of weight rapidly (that I'm now trying to lose...2 stone in 4 months? Hmm) and generally feel I'm unattractive. I thought I was into a great guy, who seemed to like me, do all the running, had the start of a good, although not great, relationship. Then he turns around and dumps me for being ugly.
