Good morning,
It's an Acer Aspire 3630 Laptop.
Built in graphics hardware.

I've tried their site, but for some reason my model isn't listed. Tried a similar model number but it wouldn't install.

I didn't have this problem last time I had to install it, I'm sure it was something seemingly generic. Sorry I can't give more details. I sound like a proper compu-spazz.

hey dude, you finished recording your songs yet?
I found this page...

www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg11744.html

Which seems to suggest your onboard graphics are...

0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS]
661/741/760/761 PCI/AGP VGA Display Adapter

So possibly try the SiS UniVGA5 or SiS UniVGA3 driver download and instructions from here...

www.sis.com/download

Best of British eh what?

Nice one man,
at work at the minute I'll give it a look when I get home.

I'm off to Spain for a week on Saturday then I'm off into the studio in the next couple of weeks.
Got a mate studying Music Production at Uni so the studios there are top of the range.

...oh and it's completely free!

jammy sod
I need to steal your mate. How does he feel about lengthy car journeys in a burlap sack in a locked boot?

and I've just realised
I'm still using my secondary b3ta account FAIL

He's very tall so it may be a problem.
He also has a ponytail which he tucks down the back of his shirt, but that's by the bye.

OK, well a quick search on Google
shows the graphics card to be a:

SiS Mirage M661MX

So I suggest you try downloading it from here:

www.sis.com/download/

Next time, put the computer model number plus what you need to find out into Google.

Good luck
